The Honky Tonk Hat Bar is the city's original custom hat experience, set in a boutique studio in the Broadway/West End corridor where you design a one-of-a-kind cowboy or trucker hat during a 90-minute guided workshop. Every hat is built from scratch with your designer, so the one you walk out with is yours alone and no two are ever the same.
When you arrive you will choose your base: trucker, canvas, or dad hat on one side, or wool, felt, or straw cowboy hat on the other. From there, your designer walks you through the full range of accessories including patches, pins, chains, charms, vinyl lettering, feathers, and ribbons, and helps you build the look you want. There is no wrong direction; the designer is there to guide, not dictate.
The venue has a full-service bar on site so you can order drinks and snacks while you work. Sessions are relaxed and social, making this a standout choice for bachelorette parties, birthdays, and group outings, with private bookings available for groups that want the space to themselves.
